Country of Origin: France
Odor Type: FRUITY
10% Dilution in Fractionated Coconut Oil
Odor Characteristic: Known by its french name, Absolue Cire d'Abeille, honey (beeswax) absolute is somewht rare and made by direct alcohol washing. Odor is strongly dependent upon the origin of the beeswax and the range of hunting grounds for the bees producing it; generally Honey/Beeswax absolute is mild, sweet oily odor with hay-like or coumarinic backnotes
The beeswax is obtained by melting the honeycomb in hot water and removing any foreign matter. The beeswax absolute is then obtained by solvent extraction (typically ethanol), with a yield of up to 1%.
Perfumery: Used as a modifier to 'round-off' harsh or synthetic notes. It blends well with jasmin, mimosa, cassie, violet, hay accords and those which require a honey-like, meadow-like sweetness.
