is an internationally recognized herbalist and author, and a member of the National Institute of Medicinal herbalists in the United Kingdom. She studied chemistry at Bristol University and was a journalist for several years before studying herbal medicine at the School of Phytotherapy in Sussex, England. She went on to study at the College Traditional Chinese Medicine, Guangzhou, China. Today Ody practices as a professional herbalist in England and writes regularly on herbal topics for specialized British publications. She is the author of four previous books including The Complete Medicinal Herbal.
